Do you only do closets? Or do you build all types of furniture?
We specialize in custom storage and organizational furniture. We create closets, wardrobes, mudrooms, home offices,
entertainment units, fold-down wall beds, and all forms of storage and shelving. If it helps you stay organized and
make the most of your space, we do it.
How much do your products cost?
It's really hard to say. Much as we'd like to, it's difficult even to give a range. So much depends on what you want, on the
scope of the project and what materials you want to use. But generally, we find that by crafting our products ourselves in our
own workshop, we can usually deliver a custom-designed, custom-built, custom-installed unit for about the same investment as an
off-the-rack, mass-produced, stand-alone equivalent item from a furniture store.
What does "free in-home consultation" mean?
Exactly what it says. At your convenience, one of our design consultants will visit. He or she will spend time working to
understand and appreciate your style, your space and what you want to accomplish. From there, the design consultant will offer
a range of options to fit your needs and budget. You are under no obligation at all, but if you decide to go ahead with the
project, the design consultant will take detailed notes and measurements and work closely with our craftspeople to create a
unit that precisely meets your needs and desires.
How "custom" is custom?
It's truly custom. There are some companies in our field who toss together a mix of prefab elements (shelves, racks, cupboards,
drawers, etc) and call it custom. That's not how we work. We build every piece of every unit from the ground up. We build to your
specs. Nothing is prefabricated.
What are the benefits of custom design?
Essentially, with custom-designed, custom-built furniture, everything fits perfectly with no wastage. For example, we'll build an
entertainment unit to fit perfectly your TV, your stereo, your DVD player, your speakers, and so on. Or take a home office — before
we build, we look at what you do, how you work, what equipment you use, and so on. This means we can create a home office that fits
your work style like a well-tailored suit.
Can you work with my interior designer?
Absolutely. We work with many of the top interior designers in the city. Our design consultants understand that you and your designer
have worked together to develop a vision of how your personal space should look and feel. Our task is to help you and your designer
make that vision a reality. So feel free to introduce us to your designer, we'll make a great team.
We're having a home custom-built. Do we need to wait until it's built before seeing you?
Not at all. We love to come in as early as possible and work with you and your builder to maximize the storage potential of your new
home. Our consultants are more than comfortable working from plans. And as an added bonus, if you make your storage units part of
the initial construction, you can include your investment as part of your mortgage.
